Volunteer Governance Council
The Collaborative’s Volunteer Governance Council is composed of a diverse group of stakeholders, representing a mix of associated organizations, volunteer groups, community groups and linguistic groups in New Brunswick.
Under a Collective Impact framework, the purpose of the Governance Council is to act as the strategic backbone support to the Collaborative. The purpose of this role is to:

Guide Vision and Strategy – provide strategic guidance in developing and sustaining a shared vision and action plan for the Collaborative.

Support Aligned Activities – monitor and support the various initiatives of the Collaborative membership as part of the shared vision and action plan.

Establish Shared Measurement Practices – determine approach to monitor and collect data for learning and evaluation of the Collaborative effort.

Build Public Will – engage and bring together interested citizens, organizations, communities, and groups to build shared commitment and ownership around making NB the best place to age.

Advance Policy – support an aligned policy agenda as part of the Collective Impact effort.

Mobilize Funding – monitor funding opportunities to support the work of the Collaborative.
